Abstract

A brief overview of the Summer School of the Moscow Center for Consciousness Studies "Consciousness and Introspection". The school was held in July 2020. The leader of the school was Professor Daniel Stoljar (Australian National University). The school was attended by students, postgraduates, and researchers from Russia, Australia, Sweden, the USA, and Mexico. The Moscow Center for Consciousness Studies was founded in 2009 at the Faculty of Philosophy of Lomonosov Moscow State University by Vadim Vasilyev and Dmitry Volkov. The mission of the Center is to develop analytic philosophy. The research program of the Center focuses on the mind-body problem, free will and determinism, moral responsibility, and personal identity. The overview covers organizational and theoretical issues related to the Summer School.
