Abstract

“Life is more important than a limb” doctors say, when it comes to amputating a limb to keep the patient alive. Preserving the integrity of the body is as important a task as preserving life itself. Transplantation of Human limbs and internal organs becomes routine, technical requirements for such operations have long been developed. However, the reaction of the body to foreign tissue is still unpredictable, and psychological problems arise that are difficult for patients to cope with, which surgeons solving purely technical problems do not think of.
