Abstract

The author conducts a comparative analysis of works “The Meaning of Life” by two out standing Russian thinkers, S.L. Frank and E.N. Trubetskoy. Both texts were influenced by revolutionary events in Russia. The author comes to the conclusion that for both the philosophers it was the faithfulness to the Christian ideal that became the path to order their own lives in an absolutely desperate situation
