Abstract

The common metaphysical basis for understanding the future by E. Zamyatin, A. Platonov, and V. Shalamov is demonstrated. This is the space, the fantasy, and character of changes. The logic of analysis of reality started from the understanding of the space of a huge country (Platonov), then came to an unlimited Universe (Zamyatin), and finally led to a person on the verge of life (beyond the life) (Shalamov). Revolutionary experiments degenerated into organized mass executions — such is the sentence by the writers to the Russian world, that wished to reject the common road and outrun other peoples taking some special path of its own.
