Abstract

The concept of “cybernetic immortality” is analyzed based on the interpretation of G. Deleuze’s notion of “concept” and on the ideas of Platonic and Aristotelian anthropology. Essential traits and philosophical and anthropological foundations of the “cybernetic immortality” concept are highlighted. In assessing the importance of this concept for philosophical anthropology in the bio-conservative perspective some contradictions are identified, incompatibility with humanistic ideas of means to goal achievement is demonstrated and its intermediate position between the classical and non
