The article regards disconnection between the science and arts called “the problem of two cultures” by Charles Snow that was known in the Soviet Union as the “physicists” and “lyricists” argument. The latter is traced since its origination in the previous century late 50us up to now. It is shown that the discoveries by the two Nobel Prize winners R. Sperry and I. Prigozhin open the way to the convergence of the two cultures.
