Peculiarities of representation of lifeworld in an autobiographical narrative

Abstract

The article demonstrates that the communicative approach allows to consider autobiography as the dialogical interaction of the author and addressee. The process of lifeworld representation in the autobiographical narrative is seen as the unity of two interconnected processes: the addresser’s telling the story of his/her own life and the addressee’s reception of this story. Further the internal and external factors are identified that influence representation of lifeworld in autobiographical narrative.
