Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the solution to the psychophysical problem that was put forward by a Soviet psychologist L.S. Vygotsky. In his work "The Theories of Emotions" he tried to sail between the Scylla of naturalism and the Charybdis of spiritualism. Building on the works by Vygotsky the author demonstrates the ideal nature of human feelings that is related to their reflective character and cultural-historical origin.
